Are roses attractive despite their thorns or are roses repulsive because of their thorns or are roses just roses and they seem attractive and repulsive because we see them as attractive and repulsive?
Well it is because we see them that way. A stressed student may view the world as a world filled with problems and tensions or the world as a difficult examination. A doctor may view the world as a world filled with diseases or as a world that needs to heal. A businessman may view the world as a business empire where money is the prime element of necessity or the world as a world of opportunities.
Likewise each one of us views this world from our own viewpoints or according to our perception.Our vision of the world changes with experience. All of us try to manage and win through difficulties in very very different ways. Perception is a very strange thing that not many have understood including me but yet I write.
For a happy person the environment around him seems happy and satisfying . For a person in love, the environment around him seems enchanting.
For a sad person ,the environment seems sad and he sees the drawbacks in the environment. In all these situations the environment does not change. It is the various emotions that cause the change in the person. A person who is happy or sad or in any other emotion draws support from his or her environment to continue being in that emotion. He or she wants to view the environment in that way.He makes the environment a mirror of his own emotions.
We probably might find solutions to many problems if we view the world as we want to because we are the ones who are eventually going to solve the problem or may be not. You may wonder upon my double thoughts on this issue but this is because perception is such a diverse and difficult concept that explaining it is a task in itself.
So the fact remains that we view the world according to our experiences, emotions. Probably the person who views the world as it is without adding his emotional vision in it will be a free humanbeing.
May be this is my perception!
